Founded in 2013, focused on non-metallic materials testing and CAE simulation data — precision data supporting engineering decisions.
KeyPoint is an innovation-driven company specialising in non-metallic materials. We provide the high-strain-rate tensile, flexural and compressive curves needed for simulation, together with fatigue testing, CAE material card computation, interlaboratory comparison programmes and custom fixture design.
The company has invested in and developed the test and service capabilities required for simulation — high-speed tension, high-speed bending, high-speed compression, fatigue, creep, dynamic and static stiffness, and finite-element fitting — all feeding CAE structural simulation. Our equipment includes a high-speed tensile machine with temperature chamber (−70 °C to 180 °C, strain rates up to 500/s), a 220,000 fps high-speed camera with a world-leading 3D image processing system, a 32-channel 200 kHz data acquisition system for FE analysis, a 25 kN / 100 Hz fatigue testing machine and associated simulation software.
We carry out structural, crash and drop simulation and simulation fitting for automotive, consumer-goods, aerospace composite and wind-blade applications. Beyond the soundness of the solver, reliable simulation depends on one further condition — that the material data fed in is real and trustworthy. That is precisely where KeyPoint creates its core value.
High-accuracy equipment and rigorous procedures guarantee the integrity of every data point, giving simulation analysis trustworthy input.
Continuous investment in advanced instrumentation and R&D keeps our capability at the industry frontier and ready for demanding test requirements.
We understand what customers actually need and support them end to end — from sample preparation to data interpretation.
Joint materials research with several leading universities; our testing bases also serve as postgraduate training facilities.
